Thanks for the pics. Heard through family grape-vine that the Castlereagh was up. It brings new meaning to the penned words "of droughts and flooding plains." Hope all Coonamble citizens are safe. It seems a far-a-way world looking at these pictures from the far side of the planet. Great job on the photography, Sedge. Most spots I could recgonise. |

I came across your site last year by accident & spent hours browsing just bringing back memories, looking to see how many faces I could remember & being reminded of things Mum & Dad had told me about. You really do need to be congratulated for a fantastic job. It must be very rewarding knowing that your passion to record times gone by can be shared with so many & give so much pleasure. Tonight I checked out the flood photos & decided to leave this note to give due recognition to you & all the people who have contributed to your site. |

Thanks to you Angie. They were your photos they were looking at. Today the 4th January 2010 has hit another new all time record with 5840 page hits up until 11.10pm tonight. This was the day that 1200 people were supposed to be evacuated and it was thought the river would reach 5.5 metres and bust the Levee banks. Thank goodness everything stayed in place. An all clear has now been given. |

Congrats on the amount of hits you had on the Coonamble's 2009 2010 Floods pages. Job well done. What would we do without you. |
